MIGGIE BACUNGAN
Designed by Filipino artist Miggie Bacungan, Memory Machine is a nostalgic ode to iconic objects and spaces from the early days of internet culture. From vinyls to Walkmans, analog camera films to early web—Bacungan transforms his personal experiences into vibrant visual montages that shaped a generation. This collection invites you to hold on to the little things—and make memories with the people who matter.
Memory is fascinating for me, because it often blurs the lines between reality and perception. Often, illustration is a solid ground to solidify these moments. It is an expression that encapsulates a moment in time, and it can continue to live on in different forms and documentation.

Memory Machine draws inspiration from my love of early internet culture, ephemera, and spaces. I love texture and tactility, and collecting these objects remind me so much of the history and memory associated with each object and space.
